Delivery
We try hard to ensure that the goods we supply to you are good quality and value. If you are not satisfied with any product from our normal stock range which you receive from us, return the item to us within 7 days, in saleable condition and with any manufacturer's packaging, and we will replace, refund or credit as appropriate. We cannot extend this offer to items which have been ordered-in specially, or which have been made to order or personalised. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Our aim is to despatch most orders within 1 working day of receipt, subject to stock availability. If your need is more urgent, please tell us and we will try to help.
Small orders (up to about 1kg) are generally sent by post. Medium sized orders (1-30kg) are usually sent by a carrier such as DHL or Parceline, normally for delivery on the next working day after despatch.
Larger orders (over 30kg, or longer items or very bulky) are shipped by a carrier such as Tuffnells or Nightfreight, and can also be on a 'next working day' or 3-day service. Early morning, Saturday and special deliveries can also be arranged. International orders can be sent by post / courier (DHL/UPS etc.) or freight.
Carriers will normally require a signature on delivery – please let us know if this is likely to be a problem. Some carriers will accept instructions such as ‘Leave in shed if no-one in’, but this has to be at the risk of the customer / consignee.
Different prices and delivery times can apply to remote destinations and off-shore locations – please ask if you need further details.
Because of the diversity and variety of the wide range of products in our range, it is not always possible for a mere computer to calculate an accurate delivery charge. In the unlikely event that a delivery charge needs to be amended, we will always contact you and advise you accordingly, at the same time giving you the option to cancel the order should you wish.
